Since the last time we’ve exchanged posts, I’ve managed to acquire a Reflecta Crystalscan 7200. Not a bad scanner, but I bought it “naked”, only with it’s standard software. Adjusting for natural yet “good” (vibrant/saturated) color has been difficult, to say the least.
Whats the guy with the phone up to? Like the exposure and contrast.
Gary.
Ale historia…!
Pls tell me how you create this look. Contrast up, saturation down?
This time its just straight scan from Silverfast, just few sliders touched… probably exp down and col balance > warm …
Why did you change from VueScan to SF?
Its amazing if this is straight scan.
profiling negatives was not reliable enough and vuescan does not provide good colours straight-from-the-box :-)
“provide good colours straight-from-the-box”
Tell me about it…

there is a dedicated Silverfast version for your scanner – maybe give it a try? :-)
I know, but its €150, and thats a loooooooot of squid for a “starving student”, like me. ;-)
Almost 2/3 of the scanner’s price. But yeah, I’ll get it…as soon as I’ve got rid of my left kidney on the black market. ;-)
hmm, z playback’u chyba ;D
wlasciwie to pan z lewej “puszczał” komuś muzykę pana z prawej przez komorke ;-)
